What I Wore: Florals for spring? Groundbreaking...

Tell me a woman that does not recognize that quote and I will...well, probably just stand there in shock and question why they haven't seen the greatness that is 'The Devil Wears Prada'. Starring legends such as Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt, the film showcases the cut-throat industry of the fashion world with clothes to be coveted and quotes to be copied. And the humour is pretty excellent too. Hold on, this post is starting to sound like a film review, when in fact it started out as a 'What I Wore' post. While I'd love to ramble on about the film, I'm sure IMDB will give you a better synopsis, after all, I love fashion and the film so I'm probably a bit biased to comment...

This is what I wore on Wednesday when as my sister had the day off work, we (and our mother) did a bit of retail therapy and stopped at this lovely restaurant in the countryside for dinner/tea. I've always liked playsuits as it's an outfit already made up for you. Yes, you can accessorize with bags or jewellery but when it comes down to it, most playsuits will speak for themselves as a stand alone fashion work of art. The downside? Toilet trips will take longer. Swings and roundabouts really.
