Top 5 Style Crushes - #1 Blake Lively

And finally we're at number one of my top 5 style crushes and who is it other than all-round American blonde-bombshell - Blake Lively. Ever since appearing as upper-east side it girl  Serena Van Der Woodsen, Blake's career and fashion credentials has gone from strength to strength. Who else can boast playing opposite Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds in summer flick Green Lantern, gracing the front row at the hottest runway shows and being selected as a muse for Karl Lagerfeld for his mademoiselle handbag collection for which she is now the face? Yep, not many people...

But who can blame Lagerfeld for his selection? With a model's figure, golden locks, sensational style and a powerful red-carpet presence, Miss Lively sure can do no wrong. But to me, what makes Blake my number one style crush is her awareness of her figure and knowing exactly what does and what does not suit her. But that's not to say that she doesn't take style risks but being as flawless as she is, it's rare she steps a foot out of place.  She conquers casual whilst exuding elegance effortlessly on the red-carpet. And the attention to detail doesn't stop there. Her hair and make-up always complement the ambience of the outfit from muted nudes and simple up-dos to scarlet lips and cascading curls.

I could go on, but as the famous saying dictates that "A picture can say a thousand words", I think I'll let the above ten finish this off.

Lady in red @ Toronto's international film festival, Flashing the mid-driff in this navy and sheer number, Victory in Victoria Beckham with a classic scarlet lip and elegant up-do, Managing the masculine shirt and blazer combo paired with skin-tight thigh-high boots - only an outfit Blake could pull off!Looking lovely in lace @ the Sherlock Holme's premiere

Trouser suit + curls = a feminine twist, Classic cream and black asymmetric teamed with Hollywood hair, Taking the 'sexy secretary' look to a whole new level in this daring white blazer, Showing that simplicity is often the key with black louboutins, a rich purple dress and pretty up-do at the Teen Choice Awards, Sexy seƱorita in this lemon and black strapless with a slicked back do - letting the pattern do the talking
