The Look Show September 2011

Where do I begin? Yesterday was INCREDIBLE. As you know from my previous post, I had headed down to Westfield to blog from the Look Lounge (which I did) but due to the show being held at 4pm, I didn't have much time to go in to detail (which is entirely my own fault for underestimating the crowds!).

I got to meet the lovely Lara from Look (who I've followed on Twitter for a while now but never actually met). I also got to meet other Look magazine staff members who like I said in my previous post were the loveliest people ever and I'm very grateful for the way they treated me (as I was quite a loner rocking up to London on my own! - violins please??). I was incredibly lucky to have a pass to the hottest fashion ticket this weekend and the staff went out of their way to giving me a great experience of the show. The crowds surrounding the catwalk and shopping centre were manic so to get the amazing seat I did (two rows from the front and not far from Pussycat Doll Kimberly) was the once in a lifetime opportunity.

Upon arrival, I found my fab goody bag (a post is on it's way as to the cool things I got) and was given a glam pink rose bottle (with matching straw I might add!). I did accidentally spill a bit on my dress as as the Look staff pointed out sadly after, the wine had a tendency to rise up after each sip - oops!

I took quite a few photos as you'll see - some are blurry as I had to get the timing and stillness right but I quite like the ones that aren't entirely in focus as it shows the atmosphere and energy of the show! There were celebs a dozen including Miss Sarah Harding (who made her catwalk debut), Dionne Bromfield who's incredible vocals brought down the house, Kelis, Kimberly (PCD), Alesha Dixon and more. I have to see Kimberly is so stunning in real life and I was having mega fashion envy with her outfit. I would have got a photo of it, but I didn't want to irritate her - after all - she was there to enjoy the show too. Plus, I'm sure Look Magazine will have some great shots of her that will hit their website asap!

I'll try and edit the photos later with who's collections were who's. But for now, sit back, relax and take in the fab fashion photos :)
