Weekly Round Up

1. I've already blogged about Boxing Day but as it's in my Weekly Round Up, I'll write about it again. We had a lovely family day which is what Christmas is about - I'm very much a family orientated person so I love get-togethers like that.

2. We braved the sales in Manchester on Tuesday (myself, my mum and my sister) and I was quite disappointed which isn't really the shops' fault as the sales had been out before Christmas and I'm not one for massive crowds and the such. I get stressed on an average shopping trip so dozens of angry girls in Topshop did not cheer me up! We had it pretty lucky really though, as The Trafford Centre was rammed. The car parks were closed off as they were all full and it was reported that it was taking customers 3 hours to get out of the car park which is ridiculous!

After shopping we went for a lunch at Frankie and Benny's which is fast becoming one of my favourite restaurants thanks to their deals and range of options on the menu. We had a 30 minute wait which was annoying but expected right after Boxing Day and the food more than made up for the wait!

3. Yesterday, before the NYE celebrations, my sister and I headed up to Liverpool early to  do a bit of shopping which was nice. I finally got a Yankee Candle for half price which I'm happy about as I can't really justify spending nearly £20 on a candle when I need to be saving for my holiday next year!

4. Tomorrow I'm heading back to London again for the second week of my internship which I am excited about but gutted to having to pack my life up again. I feel like I'm constantly living out of a suitcase at the moment which I'm not too keen on as I like to feel settled (the inner 80 year old coming out of me!). Hopefully I'll see my London friends this week as I don't really know many people in London!
