What I Wore: Stop Horsing Around

Blazer - New Look, Blouse - Marks and Spencer, Trousers - Primark, Belt - Primark, Riding Boots - Next

Today's been quite a dull day weather wise in the Shire which made me ditch the usual tights and skirts for something a bit more wrapped up. I had a hair appointment today which  is one of my least favourite times of the year. I think I'm one of the few women who doesn't enjoy the whole process - the awkward conversation, getting my hair washed by a stranger and then getting to view the back of my head at the end - yay! I literally had the tiniest bit cut off as I have a real attachment to my long hair which probably stems from growing up as I was never allowed my hair longer than a bob. I'm not too keen on the finish of my hair but that's down to the shampoo and products they used, I don't like loads of different gels, waxes, sprays and lotions put in as as my hair is fine, it gets weighed down easy and can't hold too much!

Back to the outfit, my inspiration drew from the equestrian styled belt that I picked up in Manchester on Monday. My mum spotted it (good find mother!), and it was just £1 from Primark which you can hardly frown at! I don't actually have horses myself but there are stables behind my house and I have been riding before so I have a fair few pieces which resemble the riding gear. I'd still love a pair of jodhpurs to complete my collection though!
