ASOS Loves You - My £500 Gift List

Yes, it's that time of year again, when the generous team at ASOS offer us hungry shoppers the chance to win £500 worth of goods of our choice. What do I need to do? Browse the ASOS website and using the 'Save for later' option on each product, you can select up to £500 worth of goods. Simples. Once you've made your choices, go into your 'Save for later' list and tick the top right check box which will automatically put the item onto your gift list. And finally - click the 'Send gift list' and enter: and voila! You're entered into the comp. However, you don't have long to enter - entries close at 9am on Monday 6th February 2012 so get browsing now!

Now, I thought I'd share with you my gift list. This giveaway is in line with the upcoming Valentine's Day aptly entitled 'ASOS Loves You' because lets face it, whilst I'm single - no-one else does (yep, get the violins out!). I really struggled narrowing it down to £500 as I would love to own one of everything on the site, but that's just a little bit too greedy! But, I realistically looked at items that I've been coveting for a while now and items which I'd love to invest in.

1. ASOS 80 Denier Winter White Opaque Tights (£6.00) -  Everyone remembers that scene of Gossip Girl season one where Blair goes ice skating with her father (and new boyfriend eeeek!) in Central Park? Yep, well that's the inspiration for these tights. Ever since I've wanted to get a pair and bloggers across the globe have rocked them to a tee. I guess you could say I'm 'following the crowd...' - maybe, but it's a very stylish crowd to follow!

2. Michael Kors Silver Dial Bracelet Watch (£179.00) - I've recently become fixated with Michael Kors' watches but unfortunately as I'm currently a student, spending nearly £200 on a watch isn't possible. Watches like this beautiful Michael Kors watch are an investment piece which will be worn again, and again, and again. It will go with everything which is why I put this item into my gift list as a treat to myself. A girl can dream right?

3. Tangle Teezer Professional Detangling Brush (£10.00) - I don't think there's anyone in the blogosphere that doesn't currently own one of these...well, except me... I've read the reviews and heard the praises sung by happy bloggers about this product, but £10 on a brush has stopped me purchasing it. So this item was added to test the hype and find out for once and for all whether £10 on a brush is worth the money.

4. ASOS Lipstick Pendant Necklace (£8.00) - Most people who know me/read my blog know I love my red lipstick. It's my ultimate accessory to an outfit and is something I've become known for, so as soon as I spotted this necklace, I threw it in my bag quicker than  you can say ASOS.

5. ASOS Rounded Cross Pendant (£8.00) - I've also started a small obsession with all things crosses as of late. I'm not particularly religious, I just like the simplicity and design of a cross and this ASOS pendant fits the bill.

6. Ray-Ban Original Wayfarer Sunglasses (£120.00) - I've lusted after Ray Bans for years now but have never had enough money to splash over £100 on them. They're timeless, chic and well, I want them!

7. ASOS Leather Biker Jacket (£100.00) - My final investment piece selection of the 'ASOS Loves You' gift list. Buying a quality leather jacket is always an investment. I love how soft this leather looks whilst having a rough rock'n'roll edge about it. Plus, a leather jacket can instantly transform the entire look of an outfit so instead of it being 'yet another buy', it will create dozens of new looks in your wardrobe. Perfect!

8. ASOS Bodycon Strapless Dress in Animal Print (£20.00) - I'm trying to experiment more and more with print and my first dip into the print pool is leopard. This simple cut strapless dress is daring but not shocking, loud but not trashy and a piece I would love to see in my wardrobe.

9. ASOS Sunglasses Cut Out Chain (£4.00) - As soon as I added the Ray Bans to my gift list and spotted this - it was a match made in heaven. I love the quirky detail of the miniature sunglasses on the chain and for under a fiver, you can't go wrong really!

10. ASOS Cross Earrings (£6.00) - Continuing my cross fascination, these earrings would give a tough edge to any outfit. Teamed with the above leather jacket would take that outfit from tough to 'killer'.

11. Hershesons The Rock Chich Fringe (Winge) (£30.00) - And finally - not your everyday ASOS purchase, but ever since my childhood, I've wondered what I'd look like with a fringe again. I've not wanted to go and get it cut as I can guarantee I'd hate it so this clip in fringe is the perfect answer to update your look but not risk a hair disaster!

And there we have it, my £500 ASOS Loves You Gift List. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I get picked. If you want to enter, click here. Good luck!
