What I Wore: Crops Aren't For Winter Weather

Crop Blouse - H&M, Boyfriend Denim Shorts - H&M

It's freezing outside, yet I stupidly threw on this cropped blouse. I didn't go out in just this before people quite rightly start yelling 'What were you thinking' at me - I wore my blazer, my thick black coat and my faux fur collar. But, I wanted to show you this blouse, which I brought new on Tuesday. I first spotted it on Oxford Street during my internship for £3 but talked myself out of getting it as I have too many clothes... But, when I spotted it again in my local H&M, I had to get it. Sadly, what I've found is the price of the same item differs completely depending on the store and it was £5 instead of the £3 in London. It was £15 originally so I didn't mind paying a fiver, plus I had money to use up on my merchandiser card so I thought, why not! I really like the knot tie at the front as opposed to a normal cut crop top, makes it feel very retro.

I really like the sheer (but not see-through) material of it and it's simplicity - you can just throw it on and go - no accessories needed. I think I'll be wearing this a zillion times come Spring/Summer.

I'm coming down with a god awful cold at the moment, which I hope will pass before the Manchester Spring Fashion show next Wednesday. I'm planning to stay indoors over the weekend and do lots of university work in the hope that I'll feel better. Apparently where I live was colder than Iceland yesterday, just what I wanted to hear!

I hope you're all staying wrapped up in these bitter temperatures!
