Wednesday Want: Cher's Amazing Wardrobe

Okay, so not a very realistic 'Wednesday Want' but lets face it, how many of us wanted a computerized wardrobe like Cher in Clueless?! Well I certainly did! Having your wardrobe colour coordinated and suggest outfit matches, and more importantly mis-matches is my dream (well one of them). Like every girl, I have far too many clothes and not enough storage. So I have two options. Somehow acquire lots of money and live in a house big enough to store them, or get rid of them. I finish university in May and one of the first things I'm going to do is to go through every piece of clothing I've ever owned and get rid of the stuff that I never wear. It's all well and good holding onto something because 'It may come back into fashion' but when its only use is getting crumpled at the back of your wardrobe, it's time to re-think that once clever theory.

My sister wants me to give 'first dibs' to her r.e. my 'leaving the house' clothes but after that I'm going to try and sell some online. I've never done it before so if anyone has any tips, they would be much appreciated! Is Ebay worthwhile? I've seen a few people hold blog sales - are they easier to run? Let me know!

  1. I've always wanted one of those wardrobes! <3

  2. I have sold some clothes which I never wore on eBay and it's really simple once you get the hang of it. Add the listing on a Thursday and put it up for 10 that way you get two full weekends. A lot of the time, you may need to relist but don't get disheartened because when you think about, when you buy online sometimes you think about it for a few weeks. Start off with low bids, like 2.99 but if it is something which is brand new with the tags, then you can keep it close to the price you paid for it. Anything that doesn't sell, I usually give to charity and for larger items like boots which are quite hard to post! I didn't try a blog sale but I see loads so could be worth testing out both!!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
