Feature: Leather Whatever The Weather

When Summer arrives, typically you trade your Winter knits for your short shorts and causal crops. However, this is England, and as the weather has recently proved, where one week you could be topping up your tan on the seafront, the next you'll be pulling on those polo-necks. Luckily a leather jacket can be worn whatever the weather. Come rain or shine, cold or hot, a black leather can transform your outfit from causal to classic.
Tell me about it stud...
Sassy studs can rock up the simplest of outfits. Team this Barneys jacket with a cross vest and studded denim shorts for festival meets feminine.

Classic with a twist
A classic leather never goes out of fashion. Team with this retro denim tie shirt and modern dip him waterfall skirt for a tale of two cities.

Bring on the bralets!
The bralet is a must-have this Summer for when the temperatures hot up. Slip on a leather jacket for light breezes and evening walks home.

Plenty of playsuits
Throw on a playsuit and a jacket and your outfit is done. This white playsuit clashed against a black leather would look super chic finished with a bold red lip - Marilyn Monroe - eat your heart out!

Wrap up warm
And while knits shouldn't be needed for another few months now, there's always a chance that the English Summer will be, well, English! Finish these casually cool wrapped up ensembles with a tough leather, because if we have to dust off the jumpers, the least we deserve is a rock'n'roll jacket.

These posts have also been written and published on IL2L's blog, which you can view here. I decided to also post them on here with it being a fashion blog!

  1. I want everything her, where is the waterfall black skirt and leather jacket from? I am looking for a black leather jacket but struggling to find one under £60

    1. The waterfall skirt is from here: http://www.glamorousuk.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_9&products_id=961 and the jacket is from http://www.il2l.com/ - but I doubt you'll find a leather jacket for under £60 if I'm being honest, unless it's in a sale. I'm looking for one too, but I think the cheapest you'll find is £80. I always check Topshop and ASOS as they do student discount xx

  2. I need to get leather jacket asap. love the first one :)

    1. I do too - a leather jacket never goes out of style! xx
