Review: Collection 2000 Cover Up Stick in Natural Beige

Collection 2000 Cover Up Stick in Natural Beige - £2.99 - Boots/Superdrug

I've been using this product for the past few months, so thought it was an appropriate time to review it. I have quite dark under eye bags so bought it in the middle shade of the spectrum. I only had the choice of three shades which I found was quite limiting but for £2.99, I wasn't too concerned. As you can see from the bottom photo, the colour blends really well, however under my eyes, it wasn't as long-lasting. The colour would streak quite easily and end up with lines that needed touching up often. I did like the shade I used and the application was easy, however I've decided it isn't for me. I'll use the rest of the product up as one good thing about it is how long one tube lasts, but once it's gone, I doubt I'll repurchase as I prefer products that don't require loads of top ups. Some people may say: "You get what you pay for", but there are quite a few lower price products that are much better quality than those with the heftier price tag, so I don't tend to always make the connection between quality and price.

What are you favourite concealers?

  1. I have been using this concealer for a while know, at least a year. I wasn't too sure about it but i bought it anyway. I struggle with bad spots/acne in my T zone and my nose area. I'm twelve, nearly 13, i guess make-up i shouldn't really be wearing at my age, but i'm sensible. Anyway, all i do it put some onto my ring finger and dab it on my spot and then tap it one or two times, then blend the out ring of it, if you just blend it on the whole spot, you are basically just wiping it away. So pat it onto the area then blend in. With under eye circles just blend it in with a concealer brush or ring finger.

I would recommend this product as it gives me high coverage. I'd give it 4/5 stars. It is cheap but workable.

The reason your's may be going crinkly under the eye area, is perhaps because you haven't moisturized your face, you will also need a primer, as it gives it something to stick to:)

    - Hope this helped
