What I Wore: Blue Checked

Shirt: H&M Skirt: New Look Boots: New Look
Whilst in Australia, my idea of 'cold' was soon transformed. Here in England, I count cold as below 10 degrees, whereas over there below 20 degrees was 'chilly.' So although on the day I wore this was actually quite a glorious day, I 'wrapped up' in a long sleeved shirt. I didn't want to look too swamped down with material so popped on this skater styled skirt for a more feminine silhouette.

Distance is another factor that my Oz family look at differently to us. They refer to a 4-6 hour drive as 'up the road' whereas that is quite a trek to me! I suppose that's to do with how huge their country is compared to ours. We can get around the entire span of our country quite quickly, whereas most places over there would require you to fly if you didn't want it to take you too long. My mum's uncle drove from Sydney to Melbourne which took about 8 hours, whereas when we flew, it only took an hour.
