VFNO: Mulberry

Whilst the majority of central London was buzzing with Fashion Night Out-ers, Bond Street in particular was alive with brightly lit stores, eager shoppers and thumping music. Hershesons had an impressive bus/camper van pop-up hair salon which attracted queues of people. If I hadn't had had my hair done previously at Juicy Couture, I would have definitely been another number in that queue!

Even though the doors weren't properly opened till 8pm, the crowds of people arrived early outside the Mulberry doors on Bond Street.

After about half an hour of queueing (and some pushing) we finally made it into Mulberry - and boy am I glad we did. As well as being among some beautiful bags, many of which I wanted to snap up there and then, we were treated to champagne, music, cocktails, raffles, goody bags, oysters and an interactive photobooth.

Here, Sarah and Alex were introduced to the delicacy that are Oysters. And yes, I just had to film their experience. Thanks to the lovely guy for teaching us the best way to try them!

Other Mulberry shoppers enjoy their photoshoot interactive session. Each group were given seven seconds to move in front of the video camera which were then presented into dozens of images in a flip book to keep as a souvenir of the night. This was a great unique memento of VFNO and was a quirky take on the usual standard photos you get taken at events.

Upon leaving Mulberry, we bumped into the lovely and (annoyingly) pretty Laura Whitmore. She'd previously been DJ-ing at River Island's VFNO event and I took this quick snap of the two of us.
