Bloggers Style Inspiration: Fashion Knows No Limits

October's Bloggers Style Inspiration showcases the many looks of London based blogger Tanya Prendergast of Fashion Knows No Limits. It's not just fashion that Tanya switches up but hair styles and hair colours too! She describes fashion as a "lifestyle" - one in which it's not "just about choosing what clothes you wear, but expressing yourself and a way of life." "Fashion is about stepping into the unknown and embracing things you never thought you would."
Prim and Proper
Whether it's the sunglasses, the high heels or the ballerina bun - Tanya rocks ladylike chic to a tee. Faux fur accessories, waist cinching pieces and feminine silhouettes perfect the look.

Colour Blocking
Not one to shy away from colour, the vivid hues keep the look fresh and up to date. Like Tanya, keep the colour blocking to a minimum to let the one shade do the talking.

Dressed For Success
Take office-wear inspiration from Tanya's smarter wear styles. Stick to a classic palette of blacks and greys and inject pops of colour to keep it from being boardroom boring.

Wear The Trousers
Who says trousers can't be as chic as dresses? Tanya's camel ensemble is effortlessly elegant while her peach short and trainer combo is rocked up by a classic leather jacket.

The London blogger credits many sources for her fash-spiration. "Photographs, friends and blogs mainly. My style icons are Kate Bosworth, Nicole Ritchie and Olivia Palermo" she admits.

Describing her style as "laid back, sophisticated and expressive", Tanya names her favourite three stores for achieving just that look. "I love H&M's 'trend' section and it's reasonably priced. Zara because they sell timeless and classic pieces at high street prices. And lastly, ASOS, because I can find almost anything I like on there and they are great for shoes!"

Asked what three pieces in her wardrobe she couldn't live without, she lists her Zara strappy black heels, her Mulberry bag and her black skinny trousers.

Her ability to switch up her look from casual girl about town to glamorous and ladylike proves that fashion is much more than a hobby for her, demonstrated in one of her favourite quotes by Coco Chanel: "I don't do fashion, I am fashion."

"Embrace fashion and don't be afraid of wearing something you think people might not like. 90% of the time once they see it on, they are won over!"

Thank-you to Tanya for the interview and for letting me use images, all of which you can find on her blog.
