Review: Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick #26

Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick #26: £5.49
For a while, I steered clear of nude lipsticks because I feared looking like I had foundation lips. I think the foundation lip trend, if you can call it that, is kind of like Marmite. Those who wear it - love it and those who don't, well, don't. When these Kate Moss Rimmel lipsticks came out, I thought I'd take the risk with a nude lipstick to see if I could conquer my neutral lip fear!

The packaging is sleek and chic. It has a nice matte finish in black with a pink signature font on the lid.

The product has a "breakthrough formula featuring the black diamond pigment complex" allowing the lipstick to "reflect like never before creating gorgeous tones that make you look, and then look again."

Whilst the shade is a nude colour, it also has a lot of warmth in it, meaning that even on my pale skin, I don't look drained. It has a high pigment meaning that you don't need to put too much on to get the desired colouring. As well as being long lasting, as the name suggests, I also find the lipstick to be highly moisturising which is important when wearing it for such long periods of time. It's not as matte as some other lipsticks I own, however it's matte enough for me able to wear it and not have it smudge everywhere! For the shade and quality of the lipstick, I think it's excellent value for money and is a product that I'm going to continuously buy.

What do you think of nude lipsticks? Are you a fan of the neutral look or do you prefer a bolder lip?

  1. I love the colour! I think am going to go buy some Kate Moss lipstick very soon!

  2. Wow! I love the color! I like it because it looks light and warm. Putting it on makes the lips look natural. Got to have one!
