Review: Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch and OPI Nail Lacquer

Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch: £1.99, OPI Nail Lacquer (shade unknown)

As many people know, I've never been massively keen on nail polishes as quite honestly, I'm lazy and nine times out of then, my nails smudge after the first couple of hours - so I'm always disheartened. However with the festive season fast approaching, I've tried to adopt the Christmas spirit by delving into the glitter brigade. It's the one time of the year when you can never have too much tinsel or too many sparkles. I've recently stocked up on glitter polishes so this is my first of many glitter nail polish reviews to come...

I first applied the OPI Nail Lacquer in a shade I can't sadly remember (doesn't say on the bottle either!). This had such a quick dry time and was a lovely thick consistency, meaning I only really needed one coat - but I applied two to be on the safe side! I think it's a really nice shade as it's classic and muted, which is definitely much more up my street than a bold red or coral. I then applied the Miss Sporty Sparkle Touch which basically looks like a snow globe in a bottle. I was instantly sold on this alone. Again, this had a really quick dry time and I really like the end result as it's not too in your face but it's still glitz and glam - and definitely brings some Christmas cheer on the gloomy commute to work! Even better is that the Miss Sporty polish retails at a bargain-ous £1.99 - perfect stocking filler or what?!

  1. I have the Miss Sporty polish too, I absolutely love it! These colours look great together. xo

  2. Nails look amazing, it's quite a different shade I've not really seen anything like it before, but it seems like the glitters just add some dimension to it. Lovely!

  3. Love it! These two colors look great together. I find it classy and this is also perfect for everyday wear.
