This Is My #HPMemory2012, what's yours?

A few months ago I was contacted about taking part in a Handpicked Media Book in collaboration with When you Wish Upon a Star - a fantastic charity which grants poorly children their wishes. I'm delighted to say my entry was selected in the book, among all the other great entries.

The book features everyone's best memories of 2012, and what a year it was for Great Britain - the Jubilee and the Olympics to name a few. And let's face it, the Olympics really brought the country together. I, however wasn't in the country for most of London 2012. Whilst a part of me wishes I would have been among the electric atmosphere, I was instead thousands and thousands of miles away down under in Australia - and this was what my #HPMemory2012 was. I got to meet family I'd never met, go to a country I'd never been to and have a once in a lifetime holiday. I climbed the Sydney Harbour bridge, met koala bears, walked amongst the Blue Mountains, sunbathed on Bondi and...yeah you get the picture.

As much as I enjoyed sharing my favourite memory of the year the best part of this project is that proceeds go to When you Wish Upon a Star. If you're interested in purchasing a copy, click here.

What are your favourite memories from 2012?
