High Ho

It's safe to say I own a lot of LBDs. But I don't feel too guilty as out of all the dresses you own, your LBD will most likely be your wardrobe staple, and will most likely never go out of fashion. Thus making it a lot more cost savvy than that neon pink skater dress you've been eyeing up to try on the High Street.
I've recently become quite attached to high neck pieces - I don't know why, I just think they look really clean and simple, and it then means you can have your legs on show if your top half is covered.

Whilst the dress is quite conservative, it does have a cheeky mesh insert on both the shoulders and either side of your waist. It's a nice addition of textures and stops the dress being too 'blocky.' If it had been a bigger panel, I may have questioned purchasing it as I've recently tried the popular 'cut out' trend and it's safe to say it's not something I'll be buying into. So I guess this mesh panelling is my version of that trend.

That's what I like about fashion - the exact trend may not suit all, but there's always ways to adjust and alter it to fit your style and tastes.

    1. Thank you :) Yeah, I think the mesh detailing really breaks it up and stops it being too 'blocky' if that makes sense! xx
