Glossybox | May

This month's Glossybox celebrates the company's second birthday. This is evident from the birthday wrapping inside of the box - personally I think it would have been even better if the box itself was birthday themed, thus making it more memorable - but that's just a little thing. I vaguely remember Glossybox's last birthday as a balloon was included so it's crazy to think how quick this past year has gone! New businesses in this economic climate don't have the best success rate so well done to Glossybox for their success and making it to their second birthday! This month's box is again a nicely balanced box as far as products go. There's something for your nails, your face and your hair so even if you're not a big nail painter, or are not keen on trying new hair products, there should be something for you. Something that's obvious from my box this month however is the sample size differences. Whilst I'm lucky to have received two reasonably sized samples, the primer is a little smaller than I'd hoped for, however I guess you would know after using that amount whether the product was for you or not.

Glossybox May*

Divine Oil
A multi-purpose oil, this product can be worked into your body, face and hair. I am a bit apprehensive about oils as I don't think they sit well with me as I have fine hair and my skin can be quite temperamental. I tried Moroccan Oil a few months ago and I think I'm the only person in the world to not be blown away by it, but hopefully this one will change my mind about beauty oils.

L'Occitane En Provence
Angelica Hydration Cream
After such up and down weather, I'm very keen to keep my skin hydrated. This isn't a brand that I've tried in the past so I'm looking forward to seeing whether it improves my skin.

Beautiful Movements Cosmetics
Prime & Create Mixing Medium
A new addition to ex-Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt's beauty range. Whilst this is the smallest sample I've got (it literally is a sample), it's the product I'm most excited to try as I've not tried many primers that I've been a fan of. I've tested a small bit and its claims of making your skin velvety soft so far are true!

Headline Colors
Headline Colors Poolside Party Nail Polish
Again, not a brand I'm familiar with so I can't comment on the quality before I try. I received the red polish which although I do wear a red lip 98% of the time, I'm not keen on bold coloured nails so I'm not sure I'll be using this product too often.

Jelly Pong Pong
Fairy Lashes Mascara
This is the largest sample out of the bunch which I was pleased with. This product alone covers the cost of the box so that's a good selling point for GB! I don't normally wear mascara, but maybe this product can convince me otherwise.
