Glossybox | June

This month's Glossybox is aimed to help you achieve your Summer look. Our week of 'Summer' may have passed, however we can still hold onto the hope that it will once again return! Whilst there is a good mix of products in this month's offering, I have to admit this isn't my favourite Glossybox as I feel there could have been more Summer appropriate products such as fake tan, bronzer or a nourishing hair mask. I was impressed however with the size of the conditioner included in the box and the eyeliner, as it's not often you get one brilliant sized sample in a beauty box, but to get two is fantastic.

Glossybox June*

Monu
Hydrating Moisturiser
I'm a big fan of moisturisers and keeping my skin hydrated. This monu moisturiser has a really thick consistency and has a pleasant smell. I have quite oily skin at the moment (due to the up and down weather), so I'm not sure the thickness of the cream is ideal for me at the moment.

Me Me Me
Long Lasting Nail Gloss In 'Innocent'
When I first clocked this nail polish in my box, I was really excited to try as I'm really into my nude nail polishes at the moment. I spent a good half hour applying this polish however it took a long time to dry and it smudged straight away so I'm really disappointed. Maybe this was just me though, as I tend to struggle when it comes to nail polishes. Unfortunately as I don't devote much time to my nails and spend most of my day running about not thinking about my nails, I need a polish that can go along with that, and sadly this one doesn't.

Organic Surge
Colour Protect Conditioner
This is probably without a doubt the biggest sample I've ever received with my Glossybox subsciption. I've never heard of this brand so I can't comment on their previous products, however I am excited to try this as I have coloured hair (I was lucky with that one!)

Figs & Rouge
Coco Rose Lip Balm
I don't usually wear anything on my lips bar lipstick, however in the colder weather my lips do suffer so this will definitely be making its way into my handbag (although I probably shouldn't add anymore into my bottomless pit...) as a beauty staple, should I need to apply it.

Helen E
Eyeliner in 'Black'
I don't own any Helen E products, I remember them having a counter in Manchester's Debenhams when I was younger and they always used to try and sell me this kit for £50 - at the time that was the cost of the small house to me - I was about 13. Anyway, I digress - I am happy with the product I've got as it's black - and I use black eyeliner pretty much every single day of my life so this product will definitely get used. It also has a smudge end which would be perfect for switching up your look. You could wear a neat flick in the day and then at night, smudge up the eye for a grungier look.
