Ways To Wear | The Tube Skirt

Bralets are back and bigger than ever this Summer. Team your tube skirt with a casual bralet and add some summer glam with a wide brim hat.
Toughen up the tube skirt with a quilted biker gilet and layer underneath a cut out white top to look effortlessly chic. Add a swipe of red lipstick and a beehive bun to finish the look.
For chillier climates, cover up in style in a loose knit. To ensure the ensemble is night time appropriate, team with a killer heel and an envelope clutch.
Own the office look with a cute but chic collared top. Add some interest with a quirky heel and finish the outfit with a leather jacket.

Ways To Wear | The Spot Crop Top

Black doesn't have to be boring - these scallop edged shorts are super stylish and will take your look from casual to chic in seconds. Keep the fresh thread going in a pair of whiter than white ankle strap sandals.
This season's denim is distressed and armed in acidic tones and washes. Go for quirky cool in these skinnies and top it off with a classic black hat.
A jersey maxi skirt is the summer essential for updating your wardrobe basics. Team your crop top with this side split skirt for laid back with feminine flair.
Double the dots for a look that's all about the statement prints. Team with a classic clutch and ballet flats in the day but swap for a pointed heel for night.

Bloggers Style Inspiration: The Little Magpie

HEADERPHOTO

Amy of The Little Magpie describes her style as "lazy and relaxed" - relaxed it may be to her, but lazy most definitely not. Her flair for rocking the latest styles sets her apart as a blogger who wears the trends and doesn't let the trends wear her. However she declines a need to wear 'what's in', opting to inject what she likes to wear into her wardrobe: "If something's 'in fashion' and I like it then I'll buy it, but I tend to just wear what I like and what I think suits my personality."

She likens fashion to "being able to express yourself" and that's certainly what Amy does. Whether it's a girly get-up or making a mark on the more masculine styles of jumpsuits and dungarees, she makes the transition look effortless.

When it comes to her wardrobe essentials, she counts her leather jacket, black skinny jeans and a kimono as items she couldn't live without. "I like pieces that I can just throw on without having to put in too much effort, and can then jazz up with jewellery" she admits.
When it comes to the high-street, Amy's favourite shops include H&M, Tophop and Primark. "I love H&M, I can always find something I like in there, especially in the basics section. Topshop because, despite being so overpriced, I just cant seem to stay away. I also love Primark, I've found many a good bargain in there over the year" she explains.

Asked who her style inspirations are, she struggles to narrow them down, admitting there's "a million and one!"

"There's the obvious ones like Alexa Chung, the Olsens, and Kate Moss, but I take most of my inspiration from other bloggers and also from musicians (I went through a phase of dressing like Mick Jagger because I loved The Rolling Stones so much)" she explains.

With regards her fashion words of wisdom Amy encourages people to not take it too seriously. "Clothes are there to have fun with, so experiment with different looks and styles until you find what's right for you! What else are you going to cringe about at 40 if not?!"
DRESSTOIMPRESS
Whether it's a classic LBD, a retro prom dress or the latest cut out style, Amy dresses to impress whatever the occasion.
COVERUPCHIC
Cover ups have never looked so chic. From a casual bomber to a statement tartan biker and classic leather jackets to smart blazers, Amy shows that your jacket really can transform your look.
GETSHIRTY
Who knew that the office staple could be re-worked so many different ways?! Take one classic white shirt and be inspired by Amy's ways to wear. Whether it's under a t-shirt or smartening up a casual dress, it's the perfect fashion juxtaposition!
GETYOURCOAT
Living in the UK, we're pretty much glued to our coats for the majority of the year. Amy shows how to style coats from different ends of the fashion spectrum. From a 60s inspired monochrome style to pretty pea coats, statement faux fur collars and biker cuts, your coat is the quickest way to update your look.

Thank-you to Amy for the interview and for letting me use images, all of which you can find on her blog.
