Flower Power

Hat: New Look, Dress: Primark, Shoes: Primark
It's rare that I like the most recent hyped product or popular piece of attire, however this time I admit defeat. Whilst I avoided the whole nerd and geek tee phenomenon like the plague, this red floral tea dress had me hooked as soon as I saw it. I'd seen it on blogs, in magazines and on people on the street yet hadn't seen it in store until last week. As I was already trying some things on, I thought I'd try it out (with no intention of buying it). Long story short I bought it.

It's a nice pop of colour into my wardrobe and the flowers aren't too girly that it would put me off the print.
It's a nice lightweight material and although I wouldn't normally spend £13 on a dress from Primark, I think this dress definitely looks more expensive than what it is. I could see this selling in Topshop for £38.

I coloured my hair this weekend and although the colour's fine, my ends are now so dry so I'm trying to sort them out pronto. The dye plus the chlorine of swimming pools and my recent trip to Ibiza certainly hasn't left it in its best condition ever. If anyone has any tips or tricks then please let me know!

I also have filmed my first Primark haul video - it was an experience to say the least - whether it will actually make its way onto Youtube is another story!

  1. What a lovely dress, the pattern is bold but without being over the top. SO pretty :) xx

  2. Lovely dress :) I ordered it from asos yesterday- woo, can't wait to get it. You look a beauty, as always xx

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
