This month's Glossybox named the 'Seaside Splash' couldn't have come at a more perfect or appropriate time as the country basks in our (dare I say it) Summer. Apologies if this copy then jinxes the weather and we go back to cold and rain...

Whilst everyone gears up for some Summer fun or a holiday away, this month's Glossybox aims to help you prep for the weeks and hopefully hot weather ahead.
The themed box is a delightful change from the standard Glossybox pink and the products inside are themed perfectly for the Summer vibe. For me it's a good mix of brands I know and don't, and products that I know I'll definitely use and ones that I'm willing to give a go.

Glossybox July*

Alterna Haircare
Bamboo Style Boho Waves Tousled Texture Mist
This is amongst one of the most expensive products in my box, however out of them all, it's probably the one that I would be least likely to use, purely because I'm never really into that 'beachy' look, which is what this product states to provide. It does however claim to add shine, and since I am going to be around the sea this week, this may just prove me wrong.

Essie
Sleek Sticks
This is a new product from Essie, so I'm intrigued to see how their nail wraps live up to every other brand's that I've tried. I am a little apprehensive about nail wraps, as left on too long, they do damage your nails - but for a quick change, they are easy to apply.

Sleek Make Up
Pout Paint
I've heard of Sleek Make-up before, however I've never actually tried any of their produce, so I'm excited to see how these pout paints look and feel. I received two very different shades - a coral/nude shade '161 Minx' and a very bold and bright pink colour '154 Mauve Over.' I am one for a bold lip, however this pink shade is very bold, even for me. Whereas the other shade isn't one that I would normally try, however after giving it a quick test it's actually quite a lovely shade which would go with most looks.

Coola Organic Suncare Collection
Coola Mineral Face SPF20 Unscented
I'm kind of gutted that I didn't have this product in time for my recent trip away as I always like to give my face an extra thought in the sun. This sounds like a really good product and is one I'll definitely be taking along to my next trip away.

Anatomicals
Spray Misty For Me Facial Spritz
I can already tell that this product will be used pretty much immediately. This facial spritz has lavender and peppermint extracts to help calm your skin and keep it cool and refreshed. Whilst our weather in England has been lovely (cue complaint), I've really been struggling to sleep at night because of it, so I'll be reaching for this to keep me cool. It also claims to help set make-up so I'll be interested to see if it lives up to that claim!
