Bloggers Style Inspiration: VIPXO

HEADERIMAGE

VIP – to most an acronym for a very important person – but to blogger Victoria from VIPXO, it’s simply her initials and the name of her ever popular fashion and beauty blog. Since making its mark on the blogosphere in January 2010, VIPXO has rose to become one of the biggest go-to blogs for outfit inspiration, beauty reviews, hair envy and most importantly to some people – EBay finds!

Victoria admits her blog is her “life” and describes herself as “a very lucky girl” for being able to turn her hobby into a full time career.

From monochrome ensembles to intricate prints and rich jewel shades, Victoria’s style is ever changing and inspiring to the mass that read her blog. “I see fashion as a way to express your mood” she admits.
When it comes to style icons, she counts Nicola Roberts and Olivia Palermo as favourites – “they always look so perfect and well put together with everything they wear.”

So how does she sum up her style? “Recycled” she states. “I wear a lot of things I bought years ago mixed with recent purchases.” And like many women, she holds her hands up to being a hoarder – “I keep everything” she confesses.

When it comes to wardrobe essentials she lists her skinny jeans, a printed tee and her Vivienne Westwood flats as her staples. Whilst her VW flats hold a special place in her heart for being “the most comfiest shoes I’ve ever owned” – she’s a high street lover too.
Forever 21, Primark and Zara make it onto her must-shop list: “They’re all just so affordable and on-trend, what’s not to love?” she explains.

Asked what trends she’s enjoying wearing this season she answers simply: “Tartan! I can’t get enough of it at the moment.” As for trends she won’t be buying into, the pink coat hasn’t impressed, admitting that she’ll “probably give that a miss.” Now the temperatures are dropping and the days are getting darker, Victoria lists her key items to stay stylish this season as her faux fur Russian hat, knee high socks and a chunky knit.

With regards fashion words of wisdom, she embraces a care-free attitude when it comes to fashion. “Just don’t care what anyone else thinks. If you like it – wear it!”
