3 Places To Bottomless Brunch In Manchester

Brunch is big. But what's better? Bottomless brunch. If you're not already hungover and don't have big plans for the rest of the day that is...

If you're living in Manchester, or just visiting, you'll be inundated with options. I've only sampled a few a so far because quite frankly, I end up pretty smashed, but here are the three I've been to and would recommend depending on just what you're after.

1. Neighbourhood

How much? £30

How long? 90 minutes

If you know Manchester, you'll know about its districts. If you don't - like anywhere, it has 'em. Spinningfields is the more formal part of the city, smartly dressed guys and girls and a lot of nice bars to sample. Neighbourhood has fast become a chain across England, my favourite one being in Liverpool, however this is their first one - their HQ if you will. It's on the Spinningfields 'avenue' and is a guaranteed great night out. And, for the purpose of their review, do bottomless brunch too. On Saturday and Sunday 10am - 1pm, you pay £30 for bottomless drinks for 90 minutes with your brunch dish alongside. It is on the pricier side but you got a choice of prosecco, cocktails and Bloody Marys to choose from, and they are constantly topping you up so if booze is your thing and you like the aesthetic of a venue, this is the one for you.

2. Blackdog Ballroom

NQ / Oxford Road

How much? £25

How long? 2 hours

The NQ, or The Northern Quarter for those not as familiar, is the hipster part of the city, bursting with street art, culture and quirky bars, restaurants and shops, and where I spend a lot of time. Blackdog Ballroom have two sites across the city: one in the NQ and one just by Oxford Road train station. We visited the Oxford Road branch for bottomless brunch. So what do you get? For £25 it's an all in job. One brunch dish plus bottomless beverages for 2 whole hours. For me, what makes this one a lil' special, is that I could probably bring my boyfriend to this and he'd be game, because it's not just your usual prosecco job, but you can choose from prosecco, mimosas, wine, lager and soft drinks. It's probably the widest choice of drinks I've seen so far. And they're super speedy about serving you. For two hours and bagging a fry up included (there are other food options), I think it's great value for money. Plus, if you really want, chances are there's a game playing. And if you're not too drunk, finish up with a game of pool after. BB available 12pm - 4pm.

3. The Refinery

How much? £15 + brunch dish additional

How long? 2 hours

I've left my favourite 'til last. I love The Refinery, loved the opening party, love the aesthetic and love the fact I've moved house closer to it. Their bottomless option is available Saturdays and Sundays 10am - 3pm for two hours when booked in advance. What do you get for your money? You pay £15 flat rate for your bottomless drinks, which is either a choice of bellinis or Bloody Marys. And then add a food dish off the bottomless brunch menu. I usually get the full english - partly because it's amazing, and partly because it helps soak up the alcohol. I find the bill usually comes to just under £25, so one of the cheaper BB around, and one of the best. The staff keep you constantly topped up, and there's a reason it's always booked up.
