10 Instagrammable Spots In Manchester

Untitled

I can raise my hand and openly admit I often 'do it for the 'gram.' Whether you're just visiting Manchester or are playing tourist in your own city, here's the spots you'll want to snap and put on your feed. Double tapping everywhere...

1. Junkyard Golf Club

Mini golf has come a long way. Think lightboxes, photobooths, cute props and neon signs at the venue in First Street. They've got three golf courses to pick from and they even involve slides, a mirror room and much more that'll mean your phone may lose battery from all the snapping.

2. Masons

Instagrammable restaurants are on the rise in Manchester, and this one located in the recently renovated Manchester Hall, is a fine example of picture perfect. With plush green velvet chairs, rich blue feature walls, hanging plants and gold brass finishings, it's beautiful at every angle. They do brunch here, which is always a bonus for me.

3. King Street Townhouse Rooftop Bar

Keep an eye on this boutique hotel's social feeds, for when their rooftop bar is open to the public, it's well worth a visit. With south facing views over our pretty city, you'll soak in some of Manchester's most famous landmarks whilst sipping on a wine, or three...

4. Castlefield

One of Manchester's most green and open neighbourhoods, it's filled with beautiful architecture mixing old with new, winding canals and pretty eateries to grab a bite in.

5. Jamie's Italian

I'm a sucker for a pretty doorway and Jamie's Italian have recently given theirs a little renovation with this beautiful floral decoration. The venue is beautiful inside too so well worth a visit.

6. Fress

Nestled in the Northern Quarter, Fress is a quaint eatery and looks very French with its beautiful tiles, gold brass trolley and delicious menu and cakes on offer.

7. Impossible

The biggest lightbox I've ever seen and some of the best one liners you'll read. It definitely makes me smile on my daily walk to work.

8. 20 Stories

Manchester's highest outside bar. Say hello to 20 Stories. Still a relatively new addition to the skyline, there's fire pits and heaters for when the colder weather comes and come sunset, it's the best place to be to catch those views.

9. Northern Quarter

The city's hipster district. With red brick on every corner and stunning architecture, you'd easily feel you're in Manhattan and not Manchester. A lot of period dramas are filmed around here, and we once shot a NYC TV ad here so that says it all...

10. Sunset by Australasia

Quite possibly Manchester's most Instagrammable spot right now, it's not hard to see why. Outside on the terrace you're met with flower adorned walls, pink pillows, twinkling lights and gold cutlery. Inside, the pastel perfection continues with plush pink booths and gold finishings. I've never actually eaten here so can't comment on the food, but for loading my feed with prettiness, I give it a thumbs up.
