The 3 Best Full English Breakfasts In Manchester

Untitled

Whether you're hungover or just fancy a hearty meal to start the day, a full english in Manchester is not hard to find. Luckily, I've tried most of them, and here's the three I'd go back to time and time again.

1. Ezra & Gil

Earning top spot, and no surprise to my friends and family who have to hear me rave about this place on the weekly. Ezra and Gil in my eyes do the best full english breakfast in town. Sadly you can't reserve here and if you're like my boyfriend, don't like waiting - head down on a weekday or be prepared to wait. Their 'Classic E&G Breakfast' is under a tenner and the eggs are something else, plus I'm a big fan of their sausage too. It's based in the city's quirky Northern Quarter and if you're visiting the city, it needs to be on your to-do list.

2. The Refinery

Across town is Drake & Morgan's The Refinery, which serves up a stellar full english, with the option of booking onto bottomless brunch. The atmosphere is always lively, the staff friendly and the interior is beaut. Plus you can book here too, so you can guarantee the good stuff.

3. The Alchemist

Whilst I didn't have the best breakfast at the branches in town, a few weeks prior we paid a visit to the Media City Alchemist and it was to. die. for, so I felt it only right to give this venue a top three slot. The portion size was incredible, the sausages deliciously tasty and you even get bacon too. Plus, HASH BROWNS. It's rare I get these with a full english, so this made my day. And the view here definitely helps. It's located about 15/20 minutes on the tram outside of the city centre, but it's well worth a detour and a cheeky cocktail off their extensive menu. Plus you can book here too!
